Our adoptive parents are very important to us.
We strive to educate each and every prospective “parent” in raising
and training their new pets. We get many emails, calls, and letters
telling us how wonderful their pets are and much of a difference it is
to buy a bird from someone who knows the business of raising birds.

"I had
never dealt with an 'internet breeder' before so I was somewhat
skeptical when I found out that this one had mousebirds. This is a
bird that I had been wanting for several years, and, short of
driving to California (a hike from south Florida, I will admit), I
was very happy to find Jason in Chicago. Seems that I had even timed
things right and within a couple of weeks he informed me that the
babies were doing well and would soon be ready to ship.
He was
very good about answering my emails and offered me references. He
kept me informed and soon we agreed on a shipping day. He insisted
that Continental Airlines was the best and it turned out to be top
notch. The bird was securely packed in a small cage within a
carrier, and I was able to speak to "human beings" at Continental
who knew exactly where the bird was during the entire journey from
Chicago to Houston to Miami!
" Mousie"
arrived in Miami on a Sunday evening and was quite perky and
healthy. I can't begin to describe the interest and enjoyment I have
had with this little bird. I would highly recommend this breeder to
anyone, and someday hope to buy another one of his birds!"

“…The vet that I took Nuts to in West Dundee, IL on Monday gave him a full clean bill of health. She checked his lungs, heart, sinuses, bottom, keel, weight, eyes, nose etc. The vet was very impressed with your folder and said 'you went to a very good place to get him - this is a good breeder‘” Charlotte & family (above photo is their daughter Sophie and their Cockatiel “NUTS”)
"I adore my parrotlet, Munchkin. She is the sweetest most loving little bird I have owned. She loves to fall asleep in my hand, her head resting on my thumb. She also gets along with my African Grey. Although he wants her toys and she wants his! We are one happy bird family! Thanks for all your helpful bird knowledge in making my decision to adopt her!" Mary (above photo is their parrotlet “MUNCHKIN”)Here are some other testimonials:
"Our cockatiel Pico is a great bird thanks to your handraising techniques. You can bet that we would send anyone to you who was looking for a first-rate bird!" Tracy Jurinek, Westmont, IL tracyellyn@hotmail.com
"Here are all the birds. The new ones are getting along... Thank you for all you do. It has such quality..." Elizabeth Sexton-Meyer sextonmeyer@hotmail.com Eating, playing, whistling, kissing, yelling, showering, eating more, and happy. Thanks again! Bob and Cindy B

Zippy, a Lineolated Parakeet purchased from Beak's Birdhouse, was
brought to our clinic by owner Steve Wetterling.
Zippy was examined on 4/2/04 and appeared to be in very good
physical condition. Furthermore, Zippy appeared to have a very nice
temperament. "Georgie checked out A-Ok yesterday at the Vet. It was interesting because the technician was trying to convince me that Georgie was a parrotlet. I overheard her telling the doctor that he was a beautiful bird but that I thought it was a parakeet. I was pleased that the doctor could tell the difference! The appointment lasted almost 2 hours because he had never seen a lineolated parakeet before. I also wanted to pass on compliments to you from the Vet. He was very impressed by all the information that you provided me before taking him home and he said that Georgie was very well cared for and healthy- 49 grams! He did want me to remove the band and try a microchip, but I declined - thanks for the advice! Georgie is really starting to get comfortable with his cage and is chattering more and more. Today he was eating his Bean Cuisine for the first time. He didn't really try it before. He really likes climbing on the bars of the cage - is this normal or does it mean I need more ways to travel in the cage from spot to spot?"
Thanks,
Brenda "Sprite has turned out to be such a great part of our family. I can't imagine our home without him and his antics! We're really happy with him. Thanks for a great baby!" Denise Schiele, Downers Grove, IL 2goalies@comcast.net "The birds I have received from you are just beautiful. They are calm birds with wonderful temperaments and their feather quality is perfect! I have many birds but yours came to me with the health and quality I wish I could have gotten from other breeders in the past. I can't thank you enough for a job well done!" Lynn Connelly, Chicago Heights, IL dragonwing1701@hotmail.com "We are so happy with our little parrotlet who goes everywhere with me. I am so thankful for her and the care that your provide for your birds." Dr. Karen Becker, avian vet Natural Pet Animal Hospital, Bourbannais, IL 708.342.1111 "Our Cockatiel is doing wonderful!!! As I am e-mailing you she is with me, going from my shoulder to the keyboard......she loves the keyboard! Delilah is lovable & always wants to be with us!! If she is just free in my room, to sit outside her cage........She always ends up on my shoulder! So she is my loyal companion as I fix beds & straighten up in the morning! She loves "me" best, but Bill is a very close second!! She has left my shoulder many times to go w/ him! She will even leave me as I sitting on the couch, if she sees him in the kitchen or at the computer.....landing perfectly on his shoulder! Yet she usually returns to me, & then starts the whole thing over!! She does like the kids, but her favorites our Bill & I!!
We
all Adore her!!! Bill, who basically agreed to buy her because of me,
just loves her! He has said.....”I never saw a bird so lovable &
gentle as her!!" I would have to strongly agree!! You did a Wonderful
job Jason!!" Maria Baldassarre
(and their Cockatiel “DELILAH”)
